Point at each person you want gone
Say it the way you would to a friend looking at the photo: "the man in the red jacket on the left", "the two children by the fountain". Vague requests like "remove extras" leave the model choosing for you.
Upload a photo, say which people to take out, and get it back with the gap filled in: pavement, wall, sea, whatever was behind them.
Remove people from a photo and let AI rebuild what was behind them. Name who goes, and the background, light, and framing are kept. First run free.
Upload at least one reference image before generating.
All four take your photo and redraw the space behind a removed person. Busy patterns such as tiles and railings are where they differ most.

Deleting a person is easy. Making what is behind them believable is the real work, and the prompt decides how well that goes.

The gap has to be filled with something. "Continue the cobbled street and the shop window" gives a far cleaner result than leaving the replacement to chance.

Add "keep the couple in the foreground exactly as they are". Without it, faces and clothing nearby can drift while the model redraws the frame.

A stranger standing behind your friend, or arms crossing in front of the subject, forces the model to invent hidden parts. Crop or pick another frame if you can; if not, expect to run it twice.

A removed person can leave their shadow on the ground or a ghost in a shop window. Name those in the prompt: "also remove their shadow and their reflection in the glass".

Brick, tiles, railings, and crowds of small figures are redrawn, not copied. Zoom in on those areas before you use the picture.

A bin, a cable, a parked car, a sign: name it the same way and say what continues behind it. It works on objects as well as people.
